Hi, my name is Iishkar Catherine Everwood-Harvey, but most people simply call me ‘Ice’. I’m a Ceramic and Textile Artist living and working in Central England.
Nature, fairy-tales and rummaging through my Grandmother’s button tin were big influences on my childhood and carry through to my work and inspiration today. Time spent exploring castles, woodland’s and ruins, seeing nature reclaim areas where once stood man made structures.
About my work
In my textile work I incorporate a variety of fabrics, both new and vintage. Old buttons, jewellery and even washers are used and upcycled to embellish pieces that are stitched with both hand and machine threads.
